TENNESSEE POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
1 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
5 eggs
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Cream sugar, shortening and butter. Add eggs, one at a time; beat until fluffy. Combine dry ingredients; add alternately with milk. Beat well. Add vanilla and lemon flavorings. Mix well.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Let cool 15 minutes in pan before getting it out.
