GRANDMA'S SWEET CELERY DILLS | |
25 (6") pickles 1 bunch celery 1 bunch dill 1 med. onion 1 qt. vinegar 1 qt. water 2 c. sugar 1/2 c. salt Cut pickles in quarters lengthwise. Cut celery the length of pickles. Stuff sterilized jars with 2 pieces of celery, 1 piece of dill, a slice of onion and pickles to fill. Boil vinegar, water, sugar and salt in a pan. Pour over pickles in jars. Seal jars with lids. Process in 4 inches water for 15 minutes. |
