RUSSIAN TEA CAKES | |
1 c. soft butter 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/2 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. finely chopped walnuts Combine butter, confectioners' sugar and vanilla. Sift together flour and salt. Stir 2 mixtures together. Add nuts. Chill dough. Roll into 1 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes. While still warm, roll in confectioners' sugar and let cool. |
