GERMAN CHOCOLATE UPSIDE - DOWN CAKE | |
1 box German chocolate cake mix 1 c. chopped pecans 1 c. coconut 1 stick butter 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 (1 lb.) box confectioners' sugar Mix the German chocolate cake mix according to package directions. Sprinkle nuts and coconut on bottom of ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Pour cake mixture over top of this. Heat 1 stick butter and 8 ounce cream cheese until melted; add box of confectioners' sugar and blend well with a spoon (will be thick). Spread over top of uncooked cake mixture by drizzling from a spoon as evenly as possible. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 40-45 minutes. |
