RHUBARB CRUMBLE BREAD | |
1 c. white sugar 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. buttermilk 2 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 c. finely cut rhubarb 2/3 c. oil 2 eggs, well beaten 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped nuts Beat sugars, oil, eggs and buttermilk together; add soda, vanilla, flour, rhubarb and nuts. Bake in 2 well greased loaf pans. After baking 1/2 hour sprinkle with mixture of 1/2 cup brown sugar and 2 tablespoons butter. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. |
