GERMAN VEGETABLE STUFFING | |
2 c. green peppers 2 c. celery 2 c. mushrooms 2 c. onions 1/2 box saltines, grated very fine 1 lb. butter Salt and pepper (optional to your liking or taste) Chop all ingredients very small. Put all in large frying pan with butter and cook until soft and little gold, about 20 minutes. Open, no cover. Remove from heat. Add saltines. Very fine like cracker meal and mix well. Stuff turkey, chicken, peppers, or use as hors d'oeuvres on crackers. |
