UNLEAVENED COMMUNION BREAD 
1 c. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
2 - 2 1/2 tbsp. milk

Sift flour, sugar and salt together. Cut in shortening using two knives. Add a little bit of milk at a time, and only enough to form into a dough.

Roll dough (using a floured or silicone rolling pin) to 1/4 inch thick. A silicone pastry rolling mat, such as a Silpat will help keep the dough from sticking to the board without the need to add too much flour.

Cut into 1/2 inch squares. Bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes or until done.
