MACARONI CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. ground beef 2 med. onions, chopped 1 bell pepper, chopped Salt & pepper to taste 2 c. macaroni 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 c. cheese, grated In large skillet, brown ground beef. Stir in onions and pepper. Drain and set aside. Cook macaroni until slightly tender; drain. Combine ground beef mixture, macaroni and tomato sauce. Pour into a 9 x 12 inch casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and top with cheese. Bake 10 minutes longer. Yield: 6 servings. |
