HONEY DILL PICKLES 
10 cucumbers, sliced
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 to 3 cloves garlic
1/4 c. pickling salt
2 c. honey
2 c. apple cider vinegar
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. turmeric
Fresh dill

Combine cucumbers, onion, garlic, pickling salt; let stand several hours. Heat to boiling honey, vinegar, water, salt and turmeric. Add drained cucumber mixture. Bring to boiling point again, but do not boil. Pack in hot sterilized jars, add 1 head of dill to each. Seal; process in boiling water bath 5 minutes. Yield 4 pints.
