APPLE-WALNUT COBBLER 
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped
8 c. apples, pared and sliced
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 beaten eggs
1 c. evaporated milk
2/3 c. butter, melted

Mix sugar, cinnamon and 1 cup walnuts. Place apples in bottom of buttered 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon-walnut mixture.

Sift together dry ingredients. Combine eggs, milk and butter. Add dry ingredients all at once. Mix until smooth. Pour over apples and sprinkle with remaining nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for about 55 minutes, or until done.
