TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
1. Mix 2 cups sugar, 2 cups flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

2. Bring to boil 2 sticks butter, 1 cup water and 4 tablespoons cocoa.

3. Mix 2 beaten eggs, 1/2 cup buttermilk, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon vanilla.

4. Combine #2 and #3 and pour into #1.

Beat until well blended and pour into 11 x 17 inch cookie sheet.

ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1# 10x sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Bring to boil all but sugar. Then add sugar and mix well; pour over hot cake. When cool, cut into squares. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
