MEATBALL STEW 
6 to 8 medium-size potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 lb. hamburger
1 tsp. dry mustard or 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1/4 c. corn meal
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
1 can tomato soup or 1 c. tomato juice
1 c. chopped onion

Cook potatoes while preparing other ingredients. Combine hamburger, mustard, chili powder, milk, egg, corn meal, salt and 3 tablespoons chopped onion. Mix well and form into meatballs. Roll in flour and brown in 3 tablespoons oil. Remove from oil and set aside. Thicken remaining fat in skillet with 2 tablespoons flour and add tomato soup or juice to make gravy. Add drained cubed potatoes and 1 cup chopped onion. Let simmer 1 minute. Add meatballs. Let simmer until done or layer in casserole dish and bake at 350°F until done.
