CREAMED CHICKEN AND SHRIMP 
6-8 green onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 c. butter
8 tbsp. flour
2 c. chicken broth
2 c. half and half
1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
2 c. cooked chicken, cut in bite-size pieces
2 lbs. shrimp, cooked and cleaned
Salt and pepper to taste

Saute onions, garlic and mushrooms in butter until tender. Stir in flour, mixing well; add chicken broth and half and half. Transfer to a double boiler and cook until mixture thickens. Add parsley, chicken, shrimp, salt and pepper. Heat thoroughly. Serve over rice, toast points or in pastry shells. Serves 12.
