HASH BROWN POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
1/4 c. melted butter
1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
12 oz. shredded American cheese
8 oz. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1/2 sm. onion, chopped
Herb dressing for topping
1/4 c. melted butter for topping

Place thawed potatoes in a 13"x9"x2" baking dish. Combine next six ingredients, spread over potatoes. Top with herb dressing, drizzle with 1/4 cup melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or less time if you prefer potatoes less done.
