SHORT RIBS OF BEEF 
7 short ribs
Seasoned flour
Crisco oil
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic
1/4 c. wine vinegar
1 1/2 c. hot water
1 bay leaf
1/3 c. catsup
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. brown sugar

Roll ribs in flour. Brown in skillet with Crisco oil. Add onions, garlic, brown slightly. Combine remaining ingredients.
