6 eggs
6 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. butter
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Gradually add dry ingredients. Chill. Roll out and bake.
