POTATO KUGEL | |
4 c. cubed potatoes 1 lg. onion, cut in eighths Pepper to taste 1/4 c. melted chicken fat or butter 2 eggs 1 tsp. salt 1/3 c. flour (For osterizer.) Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 1 1/2 quart casserole. Put 2 cups of potato pieces into blender, cover with water, cover container and process 2 cycles at grind. Drain well and repeat with remaining potatoes. Put remaining ingredients into blender, cover and process 2 cycles at mince. Mix thoroughly with well drained potatoes and pour into prepared casserole. Bake 1 hour or until nicely browned. |
