EGGS EVERY MEMBER CANVASS | |
2 lbs. hot sausage 4 slices white bread, diced 2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated 1 doz. eggs 3 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. dry mustard 2 tsp. Worcestershire 3-4 drops Tabasco Green onion tops, chopped or parsley chopped Brown sausage in a skillet and drain thoroughly. In a large baking dish layer the sausage, then bread pieces, then cheese. Beat eggs with milk, salt, Tabasco, mustard and Worcestershire. Pour this mixture over sausage, bread, cheese in pan. Refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator one hour before cooking and preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake uncovered for 45-60 minutes until firm and golden on top. May be halved for a family meal. Serves 12. |
