POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
6 eggs
3 c. flour, sifted 3 times
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. flavoring (vanilla, lemon, almond)

Cream together butter and sugar. Add sour cream and eggs one at a time beating after each one. Sift flour and baking soda, add to mixture. Add flavoring of choice. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Grease an angel cake pan for the baking.
