RAILROAD CORNBREAD PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 can tomato soup
2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. cooking oil

Brown beef and onion in pan, add rest of first 9 ingredients. Put into casserole dish. Mix cornmeal, sugar, flour, egg, milk, and cooking oil. Drop by spoonsful over the meat mixture. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bread is brown.
