SUNDAY FRIED CHICKEN MIX 
2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. corn meal
2 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. paprika
2 tbsp. garlic salt
1 tbsp. pepper
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 dried thyme
1/2 tsp. oregano
Cooking oil

Combine all ingredients, except chicken and oil. Place about 1 cup flour mixture in a paper or plastic bag. Shake a few chicken pieces in the bag at a time, coating well. On medium high heat with 1/4 inch of oil in a large skillet brown chicken on all sides, remove to a large shallow baking pan. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. Recipe makes enough for 3 chickens. Store unused mixture in an airtight container.
