FRIED CORNBREAD 
3/4 c. cornmeal (Webb's white)
1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. water or milk
1/4 tsp. salt
Oil for frying

Put oil in frying pan and heat for frying. Then mix all ingredients. Makes a thin batter and drop by 1 teaspoon at a time on a hot pan with oil hot enough to fry well. Brown on both sides and drain on paper towels. Then eat while still hot.
