COFFEE PUNCH 
1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. sugar
1 qt. strong coffee
1 qt. vanilla ice cream
Dash of salt
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped
Nutmeg

Add sugar to coffee; chill. Pour into punch bowl; add half of ice cream and salt. Stir until partially melted. Add remaining ice cream and almond extract. Whip cream; add 1 tbsp. sugar. Fold in whipped cream; sprinkle with nutmeg. Yield: 12 servings.
