NEW ZEALAND ANZAC BISCUIT 
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
3 tbsp. milk
1 c. light raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. chopped red candied cherries

Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Set aside.

In mixing bowl, beat butter 30 seconds. Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add egg and milk, beat well. Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture and beat until well combined. Stir in raisins, nuts and cherries.

Drop dough by teaspoon on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 3 - 10 minutes.
