ICE CREAM JELLO 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jello
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. cold water
1 c. vanilla ice cream
1 c. fruit (if desired)

Dissolve gelatin with boiling water in an 8 or 9 inch pan. Then remove 1/2 cup liquid and pour into a bowl. Add 1/2 cup cold water to the gelatin in the pan and place in freezer until it thickens (10 to 15 minutes). Add 1 cup ice cream ot the gelatin in the bowl and stir until smooth. Remove thickened gelatin from freezer and if desired stir in fruit.

Spoon thickened gelatin and fruit into individual dessert dishes. Top with the ice cream and gelatin mixture and chill 30 minutes. Garnish and serve.
