GELATIN TREES | |
1 c. lime gelatin powder 1 c. hot water 1 c. crushed ice Fruit cocktail, drained Maraschino cherry halves 5 paper cups with pointed ends Mix gelatin with hot water and stir until dissolved. Add ice and stir until melted. Set paper cups in glasses to keep from tipping. Fill each cup half full of gelatin. Pour three or four cherry halves in cup, then fill cups with fruit cocktail. Refrigerate until firmly set. To use as trees, dip cups briefly in hot water and invert gelatin molds on cottage cheese "snow scene", removing cups as you work. |
