SOFT ROLLS 
1/2 c. warm water
2 pkg. yeast
1 1/2 c. scalded milk
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs
6-7 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Let milk cool until lukewarm, then add butter, sugar, salt, eggs and yeast mixture. Add flour and mix well. Allow to rise until double in size. Shape into dinner rolls or sweet rolls. Let rise again. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 17 minutes.

Also makes great fried scones. Fry dough in hot oil until golden, turning occasionally. Drain on paper towels. Serve with honey.
