CHERRIES JUBILEE 
1 lg. can diet pack pitted bing cherries
1/2 tsp. Sucaryl
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
1/4 c. brandy
6 sm. scoops commercial vanilla ice cream

Drain the cherries, reserving 1/2 cup of liquid. To this liquid, add Sucaryl, cinnamon and nutmeg. Place cherries in a heatproof dish over a burner and pour liquid over it. Keep flame very low as this must warm slowly and never simmer. Place ice cream in 6 sherbet glasses.

Heat the brandy and pour over cherries. Ignite, and when flame dies, spoon cherries over ice cream. May substitute 1/4 teaspoon NutraSweet for Sucaryl.
