BAKED TROUT 
6 trout fillets
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. fine bread crumbs (optional seasoned)
1 c. mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip)
1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. chopped onions

Marinate fillets in salt water 1/2 hour. Use 1 teaspoon salt to 1 cup water. (Too salty for me, I use less). Drain on paper towels. Dip both sides in bread crumbs and arrange side by side one layer deep in shallow baking dish.

Mix mayonnaise, sour cream and onions; spread evenly over fish. Cover with thin layer of crumbs. Bake at 375-400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
