CHERRY OATMEAL 
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. old fashioned oats
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
whipped cream or ice cream (optional)

Spread pie filling in a greased 9-inch square baking pan. In a bowl, combine next 6 ingredients. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over filling.

Bake at 375°F for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.

Yields 6 to 8 servings.
