FRY BREAD 
4 c. bread flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 pinch of salt
1/2 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 1/2 c. water
1/4 c. honey
4 tbsp. powdered sugar

Place all dry ingredients in large bowl. Blend ingredients thoroughly. Add shortening to dry ingredients and blend. Add water and mix. Knead dough until it begins to pull away from your hands.

Allow dough to rest 20 minutes then form into eight balls approximately 3-inches in diameter. Allow dough balls to rest 5 minutes. Pat or roll the balls of dough until they are approximately 9-inches across. Fry in at least one inch of shortening at 360°F until golden brown on each side. Top with honey and powdered sugar. Serve while piping hot.
