3/4 c. self-rising corn meal 1 c. self-rising flour 2 tbsp. sugar 1 egg, beaten 3/4 c. buttermilk 1 lb. hot dogs Combine all ingredients. Mix well, let stand about 10 minutes. Heat deep fat fryer to 375 degrees, or use fry daddy. Dip hot dogs into mixture, drop into hot fat, fry until brown. |
