MARINATED, GRILLED POT ROAST | |
1 lg. pot roast 2 tsp. meat tenderizer 1 clove garlic, minced 2 tbsp. oil 1 tsp. dry mustard 6 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. ketchup 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce If roast is very large and/or thick, use 1 tablespoon meat tenderizer. Combine all marinade ingredients. Thoroughly pierce roast with meat fork. Place in baking dish or marinade pan. Pour marinade over meat. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours, turning once. Cut roast into several pieces before grilling for more uniform cooking. Grill close to coals for approximately 20 minutes. (No one will ever guess this is pot roast!) |
