CHOCOLATE MINT SQUARES 
CAKE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
16 oz. can chocolate syrup

Mix together. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees in lightly greased 9x13 pan. Cool thoroughly.

MINT LAYER:

2 c. powdered sugar
4 tbsp. creme de menthe
1/2 c. soft butter

Mix together. Spread over completely cooled cake.

GLAZE:

6 oz. chocolate bits
6 tbsp. butter

Melt together. Let cool a bit and spread over mint layer. Chill at least 3 hours. Serve directly from refrigerator.
