HOMEMADE ROLLS | |
1 c. shortening 3/4 c. sugar 1 c. boiling water 1 c. cold water 2 pkg. dry yeast 2 eggs, well beaten 6 c. flour 1 tsp. salt Cream shortening and sugar. Add boiling water slowly. When shortening is dissolved, add cold water. When the mixture is lukewarm, add yeast and stir to dissolve. Add eggs, salt and flour. Refrigerate overnight. Use amount of dough as needed. Roll out. Allow to rise. Bake for 10 minutes at 450 degrees. |
