TORTILLA SOUP 
1 lb. hamburger
1 c. onion, diced
1 c. celery, diced
1 c. carrots, diced
1 c. red pepper
2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans (2 c.) beef broth
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
1/4 c. picante sauce
1/4 c. paprika
1/4 c. taco seasoning
1 tsp. minced garlic

Put hamburger in a large kettle and fry. Break up into pieces. Drain off excess grease. Add onions, celery, green peppers and carrots and saute until vegetables are tender. Add chicken broth, tomato soup and picante sauce and seasonings. Simmer for 30 minutes. Ladle into bowls. Garnish with cheddar cheese and tortilla chips. Yield: 12 servings.
