SCOTCH BARS 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 c. quick Quaker oats
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/4 c. pecans, chopped

Cream the butter and sugar; beat in the eggs. Mix in the vanilla, flour, and oats. Spread in a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. When cool, spread with the chocolate chips that have been melted over hot water. Sprinkle on the nuts. Cut into bars.

Makes about 24 bars.
