RED HOT SQUASH 
6-8 med. yellow squash, sliced
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
Sugar
1/4 lb. Velveeta cheese
2 tbsp. milk
1/2-3/4 jalapeno pepper, 1 tsp. seeded & minced
Paprika

Boil squash and onion in water with salt and sugar until done. Drain well in colander and pour into a 1 quart casserole. Make a sauce of cheese and milk; pour over squash; add pepper and mix well. Garnish with paprika. Heat in 350 degree oven uncovered for 20-30 minutes, or until thoroughly hot.
