CREAM OF TOMATO SOUP 
4 c. tomatoes, peeled & chopped
1/4 c. chopped onion
6 tbsp. butter

Put in blender, then freeze. May leave chunky.

Mix together and heat thoroughly:

1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. Half & Half
2 c. milk

Add the tomatoes and heat thoroughly but do not boil.
