FIVE HOUR STEW 
2 lbs. stew meat
3 stalks celery
2 med. onions
4 to 5 potatoes
6 carrots
1 green pepper
1 (12 oz.) can V-8 juice (or use 1 can Campbell's French onion soup with 1/2 can water)
3 tbsp. tapioca beads
Pinch of sugar
Salt & pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients in a casserole. Bake covered at 250 degrees for 5 hours. Serves 6 to 8.
