FRESH VEGETABLE MARINADE 
4 stalks broccoli, broken into flowerets
8 lg. mushrooms, sliced
1 green pepper, chopped
3 stalks celery, sliced
1 head cauliflower, broken into flowerets
3/4 to 1 c. sugar
2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt (I use less)
1/2 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 sm. onion, grated
2 tbsp. poppy seed

Combine vegetables in a large bowl (first 5 ingredients). Combine marinade ingredients (remaining ingredients); pour over vegetables and cover. Chill for at least 3 hours before serving. 8-10 servings.
