NO BAKE CHOCOLATE LOGS 
2 6 oz. packages semi-sweet chocolate pieces
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 1/2 cups sifted confectioners’ sugar
Finely chopped nuts or flaked coconut

In saucepan combine chocolate and milk. Stir over low heat until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.

Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and salt. Beat in sugar; chill until firm.

Put half the mixture between sheets of waxed paper; shape into 10-inch log. Repeat with other half. Roll logs in nuts or coconut; wrap in waxed paper; chill.

To serve, cut each roll with sharp knife into 24 slices.

Makes 48 cookies.
