ZEMIAKOVI HALUSKY 
1 c. mashed potatoes
3 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. butter
Water as needed to make soft dough
1/2 tsp. salt

Stir all ingredients to soft, thick dough. Place dough on a small bread board. Cut off small pieces with a knife or drop with a teaspoon right from mixing bowl, right into boiling, salted water. Dumplings will rise to top of water when cooked, strain and rinse. Keep dropping in dough, until all is used. Serve with fried cabbage (recipe included). May serve also with soups, stewed, gravies, etc. Take place of potatoes if desired.
