GRASSHOPPER PIE | |
Chocolate crumb crust 30 lg. or 3 c. miniature marshmallows 1/2 c. milk 1/4 c. green creme de menthe 2 tbsp. white creme de cacao 1 c. whipping cream, whipped Cream filled chocolate cookies (sandwich style), finely crushed (opt.) In a 4 quart glass mixing bowl, put marshmallows and milk. Cook in microwave oven 2 minutes at normal, or until marshmallows bubble up and are softened. Remove from oven and stir until blended. Mix in creme de menthe and creme de cacao. Chill until mixture begins to thicken, about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Fold in whipped cream into thickened marshmallow mixture. Pile into cooled crumb crust. Swirl top. Decorate with crushed cookies if desired. Refrigerate until set or freeze until firm. |
