CHINESE CHICKEN WINGS | |
Scallions, chopped 1/2 c. soy sauce 1/2 c. med. dry sherry 1/4 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar 2 tsp. Oriental sesame oil 4 lb. chicken wings with tips removed In a heavy saucepan, combine scallions, chopped, 1/2 cup each of soy sauce and medium dry sherry, 1/4 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar and 2 teaspoons Oriental sesame oil and bring liquid to a boil over moderate heat. Add 4 pounds of chicken wings, wing tips removed and simmer them, covered, turning them several times for 25 to 30 minutes or until they are tender. |
