FRENCH VANILLA ICE CREAM 
2 c. milk
12 sugar substitutes
1/8 tsp. salt
4 egg yolks, lightly beaten
1 c. heavy cream
2 tbsp. vanilla extract

Bring the milk almost to a boil. Combine sugar substitutes, salt, egg yolks, in top of a double boiler, beating the mixture with a wire whisk. Continue stirring over hot water but using a wooden spoon. Cook until the mixture coats the spoon. Cool. Place in the mixing bowl. Stir in the milk, cream, and vanilla. Freeze.
