BAKED LASAGNA 
6 qts. water
2 tbsp. salt
3 tbsp. salad oil
1 lb. lasagna noodles
2 lbs. ground beef
2 (15 oz.) cans spaghetti sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 lb. Ricotta or cottage cheese
1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Bring water to a boil in large saucepan. Add salt and salad oil. Add a few noodles at a time to keep noodles separated. Cook 10 minutes.

Brown ground beef, stirring beef to break into small pieces. Add spaghetti sauce, salt, pepper, thyme and parsley. Cook over low heat 15 minutes.

Drain lasagna and arrange 1/2 of it over the bottom of a large oblong shallow pan. Pour 1/2 of sauce over the layer of lasagna. Top with 1/2 of the Ricotta cheese and the sliced mozzarella cheese. Repeat second layer. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30-45 minutes.
