CHURCH BEANS 
3-4 strips bacon, partially fried
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 1/2 lb. ground beef

Cook until ground beef is almost done. At this point, may be transferred to crock pot, if desired. Add: 1/2 c. catsup 1/2 c. barbecue sauce 1 lg. can pork and beans 1 reg. can of small green limas, well drained 1 regular can of red or red kidney beans, washed

Can be served as soon as beans are heated, but much better if left to cook longer at a low temperature.
