ITALIAN LASAGNA | |
1/2 lb. noodles 2 tbsp. oil 2 garlic cloves 1 onion 1 lb. ground beef 2 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. rosemary 1 tsp. parsley 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste 1 1/2 c. hot water 2 eggs, beaten 1 pt. cottage cheese 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese Cook noodles in salted water for 15 minutes; drain. Heat oil in skillet and cook garlic and onion until soft; add beef and seasonings, cooking until crumbly. Drain. Add tomato paste and hot water; simmer 5 minutes and set aside. Blend beaten eggs with cottage cheese. In 9 x 13 inch pan, put layer of sauce, 1/2 noodles, all of cottage cheese and half of Mozzarella cheese. repeat process and sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese. bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
