VINEGAR PIE | |
1 c. sugar 1 c. water 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. vinegar 1 heaping tbsp. cornstarch 1 tbsp. butter Melt butter and sugar in the water. Then mix all the rest of the ingredients together; pour in an unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Criss cross strips of pie crust across top. Bake at 400 degrees until crust is brown, then turn oven down to 350 degrees and bake 20 minutes. Mixture will be runny until baked. |
